This showcase site sets no tracking cookies and collects no personal data beyond what you voluntarily submit when creating an account on the application. Within the application, employee files (home addresses) are pseudonymised on import: name columns are removed and only the anonymisation reference provided by the employer is kept. This data remains personal data under the GDPR: the employer uploading it acts as data controller (legal basis: legitimate interest — mobility study), and the publisher acts as processor (art. 28 GDPR; a data processing agreement is available on request). The employer is responsible for informing its employees, limiting the file to what is necessary (address or municipality only, no other HR data) and deleting the study once the decision is made. Technical measures: home coordinates are never exported nor displayed individually (aggregated deliverables, works-council role limited to aggregates), data is segregated per company and hosted in the European Union (OVH). A “municipality or postal code” import mode is available to further reduce data granularity. In that mode journeys are computed from the centre of the municipality: the resulting times, costs and emissions are orders of magnitude — useful to compare sites with one another, but not to be presented as individual measurements. Every document produced states this explicitly. For any request regarding your data, please use the site’s contact form.
